Shared Space III

The circular bench made from one 10 metre-long wooden beam. Asked what he liked most about the project replies: that the bench really works. If you sit with three people or more in it, it automatically becomes a very intimate space where the outside world dissapears. You really feel embraced by the tree/Chris Kabel

Clouds

Cloud softlight creates an undulating overhead canopy of soft luminous forms. Group clusters of cloud to create vast cloudscapes flowing in a unique topography. The hollow cloud forms are internally lit by LED light, making the sculptural three-dimensional forms mysteriously radiant when viewed from any direction. cloud can be hung in any combination of three sizes of clusters, tailored to the individual space they are shaping. Alternately, individual pendants in four different sizes can be suspended. Made from the same translucent white textile material as urchin softlight and textile softwall + softblock, these pieces complement each other to create fluid, sculptural environments/molo

Alog

A modular shelving system, featuring a wall mounted modular block and easily detachable shelves that require no fittings. The nature of the design allows for various combinations and compositions of shelves, allowing the user to create their own bespoke system. The design has strong roots in the language of grids and systems and functions both as a shelving system and a visual wall display. corezone

I present a project which I made with Dorota Skalska. Corezone is a closed ceramic space, where one can place their thoughts, feelings, emotions. An attempt to fulfill emotional needs by the means of an object, a try to withhold immaterial beeing in a material space/corezone

alvin

Alvin is a mobile using basic Timber dowel, screw eyes and rope, a remarkably simple, yet, controlled shape becomes a work of decorative art. By stripping the components to their bare minimum, one breaks away from decorative trends and overdecorating/Philippe Malouin

STICKINGRINGS

STICKINGRINGS is a modular partition system that can be assembled freely, intuitively and very fast. The adjustable density and porosity of the resulting screen allows different degrees of privacy.
The system consists of an array of diverse diameter rings that click onto each other thanks to the Dual-Lock system. This product has been conceived in collaboration with the company 3M and it received the first prize in the 2008 Young Artists Award by Ayuntamiento de Madrid in the product design category/studio kawamura-ganjavian
